If you recently picked up a bag of J. HIGGS potato chips at Save A Lot, check the label before you take a bite.
An Indiana food manufacturer has recalled certain bags of J. HIGGS Loaded Bacon and Cheddar Potato Chips sold in five states after discovering the product contains soy that wasn’t declared on the packaging. The undeclared allergen could pose a serious health risk for people with soy allergies.
Saratoga Potato Chips issued the recall after a company review identified the labeling issue, according to the Food and Drug Administration. The affected chips were distributed to Save A Lot stores in Maryland, Tennessee, Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. No illnesses or injuries have been reported.

The FDA reported that the chips were distributed at Save A Lot stores in these states:

Which Chips Are Affected?
The affected J. HIGGS Loaded Bacon and Cheddar Potato Chips are packaged in a red, 7.75-ounce bag with “Best if USED BY DEC 11 26” or “BEST USED BY DEC 18 26” on the bag’s right corner. The UPC code is 0-51933-31645-4.
If you have the product, the FDA advises returning it to the store of purchase for a refund.
