The LinkedIn community is growing beyond the typical office worker, according to Jessica Jensen, the brand’s chief marketing officer, who was interviewed at 2026 Cannes Lions.
“Creators are on fire on LinkedIn,” Jensen said. “We have seen 90% growth in the number of people adding ‘creator’ to their profile.”
The platform launched a marketplace to help match creators with brands. Professional athletes are also increasingly setting up LinkedIn profiles. Jensen cited a recent story about a player for Cape Verde’s FIFA World Cup team who was recruited through LinkedIn.
