A 5-Day Sale Could Sweeten the Deal

LAS VEGAS – What happens in Vegas is now on sale.

Amid ongoing tourism headwinds, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) announced the return of its “5-Day Sale” on Sept. 22 in a bid to lure visitors back to Sin City.

“Vegas is where travelers come to trade the expected for the unforgettable,” Kate Wik, chief marketing officer at the LVCVA, said in a news release provided to USA TODAY.

Las Vegas drew about 3.1 million fewer visitors in 2025 than in 2024, a 7.5% drop, according to data from the LVCVA. It was the largest drop in visitors since record-keeping began in 1970, excluding the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through July, visitor volume remained nearly flat year to date, up 0.5%, according to LVCVA data. July, the most recent month with complete data, saw a 2.7% year-over-year increase in visitors, the largest monthly increase so far this year. Previous months saw year-over-year declines of as much as 2.2%.

Earlier this year, multiple casino operators across the city offered all-inclusive deals to incentivize visitors to return. MGM Resorts CEO Bill Hornbuckle said in the company’s July 29 earnings call that half of guests who booked the package offered at Luxor and Excalibur were first-time visitors to MGM properties, a figure he called “startling” but “promising.”

Las Vegas Announces Deals

The 180 deals announced on Sept. 22 stretch across the Strip and downtown. They include offers for accommodations, attractions and dining and are available from Tuesday, Sept. 22, through Saturday, Sept. 26.

Accommodations

MGM Resorts: Up to 50% off room rates at MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Park MGM, Luxor and Excalibur or 25% off plus $100 daily food-and-beverage credit at luxury resorts at ARIA, Bellagio, The Cosmopolitan and Vdara.
Caesars Entertainment: Up to 60% off room rates at Flamingo, Harrah’s, Horseshoe and The LINQ; up to 55% off at Planet Hollywood; daily breakfast included at Caesars Palace, Paris and Vanderpump Hotel.
The STRAT: “Fall All-In” package starting at $49 per night midweek with no resort fees or taxes and a $50 resort credit per stay.
Circa Hospitality: Two-night, $200 all-in packages that include resort fees and taxes as well as $100 dining credits at the D and Golden Gate; two-night, $400 package at Circa with $200 total food-and-beverage credit plus Stadium Swim daybed.
Wynn & Encore: Up to 30% off resort rooms and 20% off Tower Suites with complimentary Wynn Buffet pass for two.
Boyd Gaming: Multi-night resort packages ranging from $100 to $200 with food-and-beverage credits and free parking. The offer includes a $200 package with two nights and a $100 food-and-beverage credit, in addition to free parking at Aliante Casino + Hotel + Spa, Suncoast Hotel & Casino and The Orleans Hotel & Casino.
Fontainebleau Las Vegas: Up to 20% off room rates plus a $50 daily resort credit and free parking.
SAHARA Las Vegas: Up to 60% off stays and complimentary late checkout until noon.

Entertainment

$50 tickets to select shows, including performances by Josh Groban, Tim McGraw, Thomas Rhett, Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy.
