On Saturday, Sept. 26, waffle and French toast lovers step aside, because it’s National Pancake Day.
If you’re a pancake fan, you might be looking at your calendar, a bit confused, because wasn’t National Pancake Day in March? And it was, sort of. IHOP declared that the second Tuesday of March is its own National Pancake Day and offered diners free pancakes, according to USA TODAY’s previous reporting.
But a dish as delicious as pancakes deserves multiple celebrations, and while IHOP celebrated in March, other restaurants will be celebrating in September with their own deals.
Here are some deals fans of pancakes can take advantage of.
All-You-Can-Eat Pancakes at Cracker Barrel
On Saturday, Sept. 26, Cracker Barrel will offer diners all-you-can-eat pancakes for just $5. The deal will run all day or while supplies last.
The offer is only available to customers who dine at the restaurant, and diners are not allowed to share their unlimited pancakes, according to Cracker Barrel’s website. While the first order comes with three pancakes, refill plates will come with only two. The $5 price covers only the pancakes and does not include beverages, eggs, meats or sides.
BOGO Pancakes at Huddle House
Guests who buy one order of Old-Fashioned pancakes from Huddle House can get another order for free on Sept. 26.
The dish will be available for customers dining at Huddle House locations during posted hours.
Perkins Restaurant and Bakery Offers $4.99 Pancakes
From Friday, Sept. 25, to Sunday, Sept. 27, customers can purchase the Great American Pancake Trio for $4.99. The dish includes three pancakes in one of the following flavors:
- Buttermilk
- Chocolate Chip
- Blueberry
- Strawberry
This deal is available only to customers dining in or making an in-restaurant purchase.
Free Pancake Deal at Ruby Slipper and Ruby Sunshine
From Sept. 21 to Sept. 26, Ruby Bennies members can add a free pancake to their order when they make a purchase at the restaurant location.
Denny’s Triple Play Combo Meal
While not a deal for National Pancake Day, diners can order a Triple Play Combo Meal starting at $9.99, and choose the Everyday Value Slam, which includes your choice of pancakes, brioche French toast or biscuits and gravy, served with eggs and bacon or sausage, or the Super Slam, which comes with two pancakes, two eggs, bacon, sausage, and hash browns. The combo also includes a drink and an appetizer.
