With the rise of so-called “vibe coding,” AI tools have made it easy for non-technical people to become developers. Business Insider is speaking to those who are suddenly able to build their own solutions to some of life’s problems, like finding a last-minute nanny or navigating the grocery store.
They told us how they came up with the idea, what platforms they used to make it happen, and how the process unfolded. Vibe coding is still new and isn’t perfect. Some had to enlist last-mile help to bring their projects to life. Their journeys are an early look at how more and more non-techies are getting the power to build.
