Dairy Queen Offers $.99 Blizzard Deal Alongside Return of Summer Flavors

News RoomBy News RoomMarch 30, 20260 ViewsNo Comments

Dairy Queen’s summer blizzard flavors are back, and with them comes a sweet deal that lets customers score an extra treat.

The fast-food chain known for its ice cream treats announced that three of its beloved, temporary summer flavors are returning for customers to enjoy ahead of the official start to the season. Dairy Queen also announced that for a limited time, fans who buy one blizzard can get another for less than a dollar.

Here’s what to know about the temporary deal and new summer flavors.

How to Get a $.99 Blizzard

As part of the return of summer flavors, Dairy Queen announced it is partnering with single exhibition banana ball team the Savannah Bananas to give fans a “Double Flip” buy one, get one for $.99 Blizzard Treat digital offer.

The offer will be available exclusively in Dairy Queen’s app for rewards members and is a nod to the fast-food chain’s motion of flipping Blizzard Treats upside down, and also the physical flips that the Savannah Bananas do while playing banana ball, according to the release.

Customers who visit any Dairy Queen location between March 30 and April 26 can purchase one Blizzard Treat and get another of equal or lesser value for 99 cents. While the deal is only available in the DQ Mobile App for rewards members, it is free to join and become a rewards member.

What Are Dairy Queen’s Summer Flavors?

So far, Dairy Queen has welcomed back two past summer flavors and introduced a new one to its lineup.

The “Countdown to Summer” Collection features three blizzards:

  • The new Strawberry Angel Food Cake Blizzard Treat, which contains angel food cake pieces and strawberries blended with Dairy Queen soft serve, and finished with whipped topping.
  • The returning S’mores Blizzard Treat, which includes marshmallow-filled Dairy Queen chocolate bars and graham cracker blended with the chain’s soft serve.
  • The returning Cotton Candy Blizzard Treat, featuring colorful cotton candy sprinkles blended into Dairy Queen soft serve.

The flavors featured in the “Countdown to Summer” Collection are available to customers starting Monday, March 30.
