Burlington is set to open 26 stores across 20 U.S. states in May as their expansion to more than 1,000 locations continues.
The openings in May come as Burlington plans to open more than 100 stores by the end of 2026. In an emailed statement to USA TODAY, Burlington CEO Michael O’Sullivan said the new stores will feature an “improved store design.”
“Delivering incredible value on brand-name and on-trend merchandise is at the heart of what we do,” he said. “We look forward to giving shoppers the chance to explore great savings, find fresh brands, and experience our new and improved store design no matter where they live.”
Apart from May’s store openings, Burlington also broke ground on a massive, two-million-square-foot distribution center near Phoenix, Arizona. Burlington says the new center is set to open in 2028.
