The worst performers of the session were Siemens Energy AG (ETR:), which fell 4.36% or 2.25 points to trade at 49.39 at the close. Beiersdorf AG O.N. (ETR:) declined 1.40% or 1.75 points to end at 122.90 and Rheinmetall AG (ETR:) was down 1.24% or 7.60 points to 605.40.
The top performers on the MDAX were HelloFresh SE (ETR:) which rose 4.01% to 12.31, Befesa SA (ETR:) which was up 3.69% to settle at 21.94 and Carl Zeiss Meditec AG (ETR:) which gained 2.41% to close at 61.55.
The worst performers were TeamViewer AG (ETR:) which was down 12.17% to 11.01 in late trade, Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) which lost 11.94% to settle at 31.33 and Nordex SE O.N. (ETR:) which was down 3.59% to 11.29 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (ETR:) which rose 6.38% to 228.50, Qiagen NV (ETR:) which was up 4.93% to settle at 43.71 and Energiekontor AG (ETR:) which gained 3.15% to close at 49.15.
The worst performers were TeamViewer AG (ETR:) which was down 12.17% to 11.01 in late trade, Nordex SE O.N. (ETR:) which lost 3.59% to settle at 11.29 and Nagarro SE (ETR:) which was down 2.84% to 85.50 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 332 to 293 and 36 ended unchanged.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.37% to 1.05, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.41% to 0.82.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 106.18.
