We want to hear how you’re using personal AI agents

News RoomBy News RoomSeptember 18, 20261 ViewsNo Comments

Personal AI agents that can do everything from booking hotels to organizing your calendar are the hot new thing — risks be damned.

Muse, Meta’s new AI agent, shot to the top of Apple’s App Store on Friday after launching last week. The Instinct personal AI agent, an independent startup, saw its popularity surge in August in Silicon Valley circles.

The agents work by accessing a user’s emails, texts, calendar, bank account, and anything else you log into. With Instinct, users can “text” the agent in the iMessage app, and the agent responds almost immediately.

Some might understandably worry about AI agents exercising so much unsupervised control over their lives. And the big AI labs themselves have warned that AI agents could go rogue and cause all manner of existential problems. Many of those already using the tools, however, say they are excited to have a machine do tasks for them.

How do you feel? Are you comfortable handing over your bank account to an AI agent that is getting more independent and intelligent every week? Or, not so much? Business Insider wants to hear how you are using the new tools.
