Dario Amodei spent Saturday night arguing with himself on national television. Well, sort of.
The Anthropic CEO was spoofed last night by Jane Wickline in her first season as a repertory player on “Saturday Night Live,” playing Amodei as a bumbling megalomaniac struggling to explain why his own technology won’t end the world.
In Wickline’s portrayal, Amodei has two personalities: one media-trained and the other frighteningly not. Several times during the segment, the two personalities talk to each other.
