Although I generally eat a vegetarian-forward diet, I throw meat in every so often.
I especially love Trader Joe’s precooked chicken meatballs, which are packed with 16 grams of protein per serving. Even though they’re preseasoned, the flavor isn’t overpowering, so they’re easy to customize.
Some of my favorite ways to prepare them are simmered in marinara and served over protein pasta, tossed with Buffalo sauce and added to a salad with romaine and crunchy vegetables, or mixed into a stir-fry bowl with a dash of Japanese barbecue sauce.
