Costco is set to open two new warehouse stores this week, continuing a rapid expansion push across the United States.

New locations opening in Syracuse, Utah, on June 24 and Pensacola, Florida, on June 25 will push Costco past 640 U.S. stores. The openings come as the retailer plans dozens more locations in 2026 following a year of growth.

Costco’s expansion in 2026 follows a busy 2025, when the company opened new locations in The Villages, Florida; Richland, Washington, and North Guadalajara, Mexico. This year, it has continued adding stores across the country, including in California, Florida and Texas.

During a May earnings call, the company said it plans to open about 26 warehouses during fiscal year 2026, with 30 or more new locations annually in the coming years.

Here’s where Costco is opening next.
