Saratoga Water Exec Says Ashton Hall’s Morning Routine Is “Amazing”

News RoomBy News RoomMarch 25, 20250 ViewsNo Comments

The elaborate morning routine of fitness influencer Ashton Hall has gone viral, particularly over his affinity for Saratoga spring water. He swigs it from its signature blue glass bottle, brings it to the gym and pool, and, most crucially, uses it to fill a bowl of ice water to repeatedly dunk his face into.

The video first went viral on X, when it was posted by an account that features men’s fashion content. It’s since been re-posted over 77,000 times, and Saratoga bottles as a meme have spread to other platforms.

I suppose there are people in the world who demand cinéma vérité from the “get ready with me” routines of a fitness influencer. I am not one of those people. I don’t care if this is slightly faked and Hall doesn’t actually do all this every morning. Frankly, it rules.

Sure, Hall’s routine is extravagant and unrealistic for most people (especially the type of slobs who hang out on X all day, myself included).

But in the world of fitness or wellness influencers, it doesn’t seem that notable to me. Waking up absurdly early, morning prayer and journaling, pre-dawn workouts, and mouth-taping are all incredibly common among the male fitness influencers I see on Instagram.

And while facial ice baths and wiping banana peels on your skin are less common, you can find plenty of articles in women’s media about the benefits of both (Cosmopolitan says that rubbing banana peels on your face “makes an excellent face mask …. The vitamins nourish and hydrate the skin, leaving you with fresher looking skin.”

And frankly, I see far more Byzantine morning routines from female wellness creators, who wake up just as early and will use thousands of dollars of skincare creams, supplements, and makeup each morning. There’s a teenage girl on TikTok who has gone viral for posting her daily makeup routine, which starts at 3:30 a.m.

Morning gang, don’t forget to dunk your face in ice water today 💪🏻

— MrBeast (@MrBeast) March 23, 2025

Here is a quick rundown of Hall’s morning routine:

3:52 a.m. Remove last night’s mouth tape.

3:53 a.m. Brush teeth.

3:54 a.m. Rinse with a glass of Saratoga spring water.

4:00 a.m. Saunter out to the balcony of your high-rise, Saratoga bottle in hand, to observe the city still sleeping in the pre-dawn darkness.

4:40 a.m. Push-ups.

4:17-4:21 a.m. Drink Saratoga water while taking some deep breaths.

4:38 a.m. Sit at a desk with a book. Meditate with eyes closed.

4:40 a.m. Move the book out of the way and now open your journal. Write in your journal.

4:55-5:30 a.m. Watch a church sermon on the phone while drinking Saratoga water.

5:46 a.m. Icy facial. Pour a bottle of Saratoga water over ice and dunk your face.

6:01 a.m. Get dressed in a gym outfit.

6:20 a.m. Grab your Saratoga water and walk out the door.

6:38 a.m. Treadmill.

7:30 a.m. Leave the gym with your Saratoga water.

7:36 a.m. Dive into an outdoor pool.

7:52 a.m. Hot tub time.

8:15 a.m. Leave the pool area in a towel with your Saratoga water. [Note: I personally do not recommend a glass bottle near a pool area.]

8:23 a.m. Shower.

8:35 a.m. Dry off.

8:43 a.m. Post-workout snack of a banana in the bathroom mirror.

8:45 a.m. Rub the banana peel all over your face.

8:55 a.m. Rinse your face.

9:05 a.m. Now you are fully dressed in a suit, sitting down at your computer.

9:06 a.m. Your assistant brings you a bowl of ice water in front of your computer.

9:09 a.m. Face dunk into the ice bowl.

9:15 a.m. Zoom call.

9:17-9:25 a.m. A personal chef prepares eggs, bacon, and avocado toast.

9:26 a.m. Assistant hands you a bottle of Saratoga. Eat breakfast in front of your computer.

That’s it. He’s been up 5.5 hours and consumed at least four bottles of water (if you include the ones used for the face bath).

Hey, you can’t argue with the results. Hall has a tremendous physique, absolutely jacked. If rubbing banana peels on my face and drinking Saratoga gets that kind of result, I’m all for it. (I suspect, however, that the real secret is spending several hours per day in the gym, which is less appealing to me than a quick ice dunk).

Hall did not respond to a request for an interview, but here’s what I have briefly learned about him: He’s a fitness creator in Miami with over 8 million followers on Instagram, making videos mostly about workout tips, motivation, and these short, daily routine videos.

Apparently, he was a college athlete (once his video went viral over the weekend, people dug up his old football stats). He runs a coaching business where he teaches other aspiring personal trainers/fitness content creators how to build their own brand and business. The daily routine videos are quick edits, with almost no dialogue or voiceover.

People really latched onto the aspect that was either purely theatrical or the work of a madman: the consumption of Saratoga brand water.

It’s not just this video, either. My personal favorite is one where he is sprinting alongside a Mercedes G-Wagon, and someone leans out the window of the car to hand him a Saratoga bottle.

Saratoga sees a spike in followers

Was this an ad from the Saratoga natural spring water company?

Not at all, according to Saratoga’s parent company, Primo Brands. But they’re thrilled with it and have reached out to Hall to talk about a partnership.

“He’s clearly meticulous in what he does and cares about his entire health,” Kheri Tillman, Primo Brands’ chief marketing officer, told Business Insider. “The fact that Saratoga Water plays a role in that is amazing.”

Primo Brands’ stock price briefly jumped Monday morning after a weekend of memes. Primo Brands also includes Poland Spring, Deer Park, and Pure Life water; sales of Saratoga account for a small fraction of the company’s portfolio.

A rep for Primo Brands said that their social analysis showed a 10% growth in Instagram followers, and at one point this weekend, “Saratoga” was the No. 7 trending term on X.

Although Tillman says Saratoga has no judgment on whether people use their water for ice baths rather than drinking, the company was clearly very pleased with becoming a meme.
