Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Frankfurt, the rose 0.76% to hit a new all time high, while the index gained 0.78%, and the index gained 0.86%.
The best performers of the session on the were Rheinmetall AG (ETR:), which rose 2.72% or 13.80 points to trade at 521.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Vonovia SE (ETR:) added 2.08% or 0.56 points to end at 27.52 and Bayer AG NA (ETR:) was up 1.77% or 0.48 points to 27.32 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Qiagen NV (ETR:), which fell 1.99% or 0.80 points to trade at 39.08 at the close. Symrise AG Inh. O.N. (ETR:) declined 1.67% or 1.88 points to end at 110.47 and Covestro AG (ETR:) was down 1.48% or 0.75 points to 49.91.
The top performers on the MDAX were Hensoldt Ag (ETR:) which rose 6.76% to 43.60, CTS Eventim AG (ETR:) which was up 5.08% to settle at 77.50 and Befesa SA (ETR:) which gained 4.13% to close at 31.76.
The worst performers were Redcare Pharmacy NV (ETR:) which was down 4.53% to 141.05 in late trade, Gerresheimer AG (ETR:) which lost 3.85% to settle at 100.00 and Fuchs Petrolub AG VZO Pref (ETR:) which was down 1.30% to 45.52 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Hensoldt Ag (ETR:) which rose 6.76% to 43.60, CompuGroup Medical AG O.N. (ETR:) which was up 3.94% to settle at 27.94 and Evotec AG O.N. (ETR:) which gained 2.15% to close at 13.77.
The worst performers were Qiagen NV (ETR:) which was down 1.99% to 39.08 in late trade, Eckert & Ziegler AG O.N. (ETR:) which lost 1.01% to settle at 37.40 and Aixtron SE (ETR:) which was down 0.74% to 25.51 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 407 to 218 and 27 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for April delivery was up 0.05% or 1.05 to $2,177.45 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May rose 0.13% or 0.11 to hit $82.06 a barrel, while the June Brent oil contract fell 0.10% or 0.09 to trade at $85.99 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.04% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.01% to 0.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 103.97.
